Mark Ankenbauer is the man. Hands down one of the smoothest jibbers in Mammoth, and that says a lot. Mark shreds Mammoths parks just about everyday. You see he works for Mammoths park, shaping kickers, and maintaining them throughout the day. He hails from Cincinnati Ohio and has been shredding Mammoth for 7 seasons. We are looking forward to linking up with Mark because he always stays positive while shredding and brings a good light to the mix. Check him out in this sequence by Julien Lecorps from the MAMMOTH DECEMBER UPDATE.

Matty Mo is dropping more hammers than a construction site full of disgruntled hard hat workers.  I have to say, I wasn’t surprised in any way about Matty’s skills.  I watched one video of Matty from early season Mammoth and knew that we had to get him onto this street scene.  Matty laid down numerous tricks on this long down rail, but none as smooth as his front board.  In case you missed it, this Sunday Sequence is from the story

BORN AND PRAISED IN NEW YORK

Matt Moriarty

This weeks Sunday Sequence presents a few unused shots from last weeks mega storm that rolled across the East Coast. The following sequences feature Ben Farrell, Chris Grenier and Jed Anderson.  Enjoy the photos and in case you missed it check out the GREATS LAKES SESSION.

- Ben Farrell stopped short on our way to some perfect handrails and spotted this leaning stop sign.  He got out of his car with excitement pointing at it.  I knew something would go down, but didn’t expect him to execute it like this pole Jam on the stop sign.  This was one of the most creative things I have seen in snowboarding yet.

Ben just moved out to SLC from Syracuse and I am sure you will be seeing much more of him.  I say that because his motivation, ability and attitude about snowboarding are all what companies should be looking for when building there team.  Seriously, Ben Farrell, Remember the name.

- Chris Grenier switch front board 270 out.  I was overly excited on this sequence and the ability to display a few different aspects of what it took for him to get this trick.  Note the drop in sequence for speed, the execution of a very difficult trick, and his stoke upon completion.

Chris Grenier is working with Joe Carlino this year on his new film project and from what I have seen so far his video part will be one to seek out next September.  Chris has an early start and from what I saw in a short period made me think that his shot bank will be a heavy load on Carlinos hard drive.  Keep rocking it Chris.

- Jed Anderson frontside 180 switch 5-0 backside 180 out.  I couldn’t express in my words how amazing of a snowboarder Jed is.  I also felt that one shot of him on this rail didn’t do the job.  On that note I present Jed in this weeks Sunday Sequence.  Hope this does the job.

Alrighty here now we got a new SUNDAY SEQUENCE for ya’ll straight from the beehive state.  Yes in case you didn’t know the Utah state emblem is the beehive which makes senses since the state insect is a god damn bee! No way you say…. Well yes way!!!! So now that you have been informed with these fun facts you can amaze your friends when they ask “What in the hell is a beehive doing on all the free way signs in Utard?”.  Go get em!

In the mean time check Kyle Lopiccolo and Nick Russell part taking in some pre- season action in the Wasatch region. Once winter officially hits ( Dec. 21. 2008) and more snow dumps we will have regular weekly installments and all Sunday Sequence guns (cameras) will be blazing.  Until then see ya next time.

- Kyle Lopiccolo rubs the bumps off at BRIGHTON OPENING DAY

- Nick Russell gap two seventy log slide ninety out at the top secret BONE ZONE.

It’s been a bit since the last SUNDAY SEQUENCE update but we are back.  Fall is finally here and the snow is starting to fall.  The shred season is just a month away and some contests are starting to pick up a little speed. Hot Dawgz and Handrails started the pre season off with a bang.  There were tons of pros, bros, hoes, dudes, chicks, cops, rails, wieners, beers and a jump. HDHR switched things up this year with the main foucs being on this multi feature gap jump.  Bode Merrill and Scotty Vine where some of the major standouts hucking themselves over this sketchy wood launch ramp to about 5 inches of snow on landing.  They both handled it proper and here are the sequences to show.

- Bode Merrill back seven japan

- Scott Vine hucking some major carcus with this double back getting him best trick.

If for some odd reason you missed out on the HDHR 2008 full reports check everything out by clicking your mouse below:

If that didn’t quench your sequence thirst hidrate your selve with all the SUNDAY SEQUENCES from last season.  There is quite a few so should keep your eyes busy for a while.
