Trick: frontside boardslide log jam
All edges forward, Spencer Naess sliding through one of many log jams on the back side of Park City. PC is shutting down for the season tomorrow. Most all resorts here in Utah (besides Snowbird) will be closed by April 20th despite tons of snow….AND its still snowing just snowed like 14inches two days ago… So closing day at Brighton could be a pow day… I never experience that before. We will have to wait and see about that one. Coming time to migrate over to Mammoth for the rest of spring.

- Some major Toadsback on this log. Spencer handles it like an big, hairy, flannel wearing lumberjack

World Quarter 2008 at Timber Ridge, Vermont. What an experience to say the least. This Sunday we have three sequences from the hellacious shred event last weekend. Enjoy these puppies… see you next week!
Also In case you are blind and missed the best video ever on SNOWREV.COM so far, live from World Quarters with Joe Carter click HERE to watch it. Also if you missed the full report with tons of photos, write up and results from the World Quarter click HERE.

- Teddy Raugh - Backflip the Gauntlet. Teddy has had double back flips on lock for like 10 years he claims. Another claim from Mr. Raugh is a triple back at this year Grenade Games on 4/20 at June. Stay tuned for that. If he does one you know we will have the sequence.

- Tim Waker is the new owner of Timber Ridge. Him and his son Chris made it possible for the World Quarters to go down at possibly the best venue yet. Hopefully this is future home of the World QP Champs from now on. Here Tim taking Bode’s 50cc for a test drive.

- Shaun White had two victory laps at the US Open Slope and pipe the two previous days before this. To bad they didn’t come anywhere close to as cool as Bode Merrill’s Victory lap at the World Quarters! Bridges called out Bode’s name for first place and he drop and stopped the shit out of this frontside invert on the burning log extension. Hell yea Bode!

Here is a peak on some recent shred missions courtesy of Jeremy “Stompson” Thompson, Jonas Carlson and Mac Spedale. Let us know if you like this stuff… leave a comment or two.

- Shits Deeeep! Jeremy spraying down a little face in Utah Backcountry.

- What it do Jonas? Jonas like to say “party time” to let me know when he dropped this day. This was a raging deep pow party at Brighton.

- You might recognize this double line in absinthes “Pop” were Nicolas Muller drops it to a huge method off the nub right after. This year it’s filled in quite a bit from when Nicolas did it. Here Mac Spedale taking a go at it.

Rider: Mason Aguirre
Location: 2008 Vans Cup Superpipe- Northstar at Tahoe, CA
Trick: backside five
Mason killed this past weekend at the 2008 Vans Cup. He walked away with 17,000 bucks at slopestyle for 2nd place and best trick. As for Sunday at Superpipe I thought he should of podiumed for sure but like Crosland said the “Judges included Jeff Brushie, Jim Rippey and George Oakley so what do I know?”. Hell Mason destoryed the pipe with some much style we thought we would do a Double|Take on his super stylish first hit backside five. Boy does that fool know how to poke, I would take this five over a 1080 any day!
For full 2008 Vans Cup Coverage click before for your desired event Report:
Friday : Rail Jam
Saturday: Slopestyle
Sunday: Superpipe
Mason adjusts his goggles with the tunes bumping right before he sends his sickest backside five poke of the day.

Location: Guardsman’s Pass, UT
Trick: Slash
Utah has been getting non stop poundage period. This particular day we woke up in the valley to flat light, low clouds a little bit of snow sputtering from the sky. I was kind bummed on the shitty weather since the forecast call for blue bird on top of the 12 inches we had gotten the night before but we decided to go out anyways. I started the drive up big cottonwood solo and straight off the bat cruised by a crew of about 10 deer hanging out chest deep in all the new snow eating. Not five minutes later I spied a huge Elk just standing in the river off the road and right then the clouds broke in a perfectly clear deep blue sky…..super surreal! Tens min later I was firing up my sled and myself, Nick Russell, Seabass and Jeremy Thompson headed up the pass into some insanely light snow and shreded it all day long. Amazing start to an amazing day with a great crew.
Everytime we go out me and Nick Russell have a one track mind. Where the best place is to get a slasher shot. I’m stoked to shoot em and he is stoked to do em. Here Nick hustled to get this fading patch of light right as the sun dipped below the trees.
